If your governor, mayor and public health officials have not locked down all the long term care facilities and tested
everyone who goes into, works in or resides an old folks home every time, every day then they are not doing the one job they were hired for.
If you find yourself screaming at a 25 year old for not wearing a face covering then you've missed the point entirely.
Lock down and protect the vulnerable. Heard immunity with take care of the rest.
Unless you are an America hating commie, you do not need to destroy the economy to save the old folks. Just lock down the vulnerable
and test everyone who wants to get anywhere near the old folks at any time for any reason. By the way, not only should we be trying to reduce
covid-19 deaths in the elderly to zero but we should try to reduce the deaths from the flu in the elderly to zero as well.
Locking down nursing homes and testing all who enter or reside their should do the trick.
It's easy to tell what the proper concern here are. Consider this, you make an asymptomatic 25 year old care work wear a mask even in his
car when he is driving alone. But you let him entering a nursing home without testing him: everyone living in the nursing home dies.
On the other hand, you particularly care whether that same 25 asymptomatic year old heath care work wears a mask or not but you test him before let
him even attempt to enter the nursing home. Finding that he tests positive he escort him away from the premises and he does not get in side the
nursing home. The PPE of everyone involved in testing the positive but presenting no symptom dude is destroyed off site. Before being allowed to
done new equipment everyone involved in testing the asymptomatic dude gets cleansed and tested.
