Nothing made by the hand of man will be perfect. That's a given. But we should have as national goals that anyone who cannot defend himself should not be killed by the police in 2017.
Every governor and mayor should declare this goal. Every police chief should declare this goal. Everyone policeman should embrace this goal.
It is particularly troubling to see the mentally disturbed getting killed. The family called for help. Not an execution.
2017 Goals for Police:
Number of unarmed men killed: 0
Number of mentally disturbed or handicapped killed: 0
Number of policemen killed by armed civilians: 0
