Some used to refer to oil and even coal as black gold. Now that even China and even Saudi Arabia have become major players in the push toward renewable energy, coal and oil will some day be considered liabilities rather than assets.
What should Trump and the energy industry do about this? Go gaga Green. Not only no but hell no. Rather they need to sell all the coal and oil RIGHT NOW while there are some on this planet ready, willing and able to buy it. In as few as 20 years all that "black gold" could be considered worthless.
